My time at the Exclusive hotel

My time at the Exclusive hotel
Yay!! the day is finally here and we're off to the Cordis hotel in town.
Last week Miss Paton told our whole class that we have been chosen
to go to the posh hotel in downtown Auckland to do a coding workshop.
At first I thought that it was going to be a boring trip and I thought that
coding was not as cool as before when I use to do it. When we arrived in
our minibus at the Cordis hotel, from where I was sitting the view was
magnificent and the hotel was huge and looked really fancy.

When we walked in I could smell the delicious food coming from the right
then from the left, I could smell coffee and the smell of people’s perfume.
As we were walking into the hotel we met a lady named Sarah. She took
us into this room. There was a man and he introduced himself. His name
was Michael, and he told us things about what we are going to do and what
coding is all about. Then finally we started, Michael and Sarah told all of us
what to do. The first thing we did was we all got to have a computer each to
do the coding on, we all took a seat next to a laptop.

We had seats between us because Michael told us that there was going to be
people coming and asking us questions on what we were doing and how we
do coding. There was a piece of paper next to every laptop and it had instructions
to help you on what to do. While we were coding there were a lot of people coming
in and out from the room. There were a lot of people that came to talk to us
about our work and there were also people that were taking photos of us doing
coding.

After that some of us got picked to show our work to everyone else.
At last, we all finished our coding work. Before we left all of us students
and teachers got certificates for participating in the coding workshop.
Overall I really enjoyed my time at the cordis hotel.  I would absolutely
love to go back there and do more of coding and using scratch with them.
