Woven Art Reflection

Woven Photo Portrait
  1. What did you accomplish?
My accomplishment was creating and finishing my woven portrait of myself
and to also doing the patterns correct on my small woven piece of art.

  1. Are you satisfied with your woven photo portrait? Why / Why not?
Yes I am satisfied by my woven artwork
because my small piece of art came out good and in line with each other.

  1. What did you find easy when you created your woven photo portrait?
I found that when you start to glue the pieces and start making
the actual woven art it really becomes easy and fast to do.

  1. What did you find challenging when you were weaving your woven photo portrait?
What I found challenging was doing all the measurements.
I had to measure strips 2cm and 1cm apart.

  1. What do you need to work on?
I needed to work on my first woven art because it was quite a fail
because I did it in a line instead of a pattern.

  1. What would you adjust with your woven photo portrait?
I would change how I did my first woven photo portrait
and try and do it better like my smaller woven art.

7. What would you do next time to improve your self portrait?
I would do it better and more tidy, and to do the measurements right.

Last week and this week we had to make a woven piece of art. We are learning about How to weave a portrait of yourself. On our woven artwork we were doing patterns and it turned out like a chequerboard. We did this work on coloured paper and normal paper.
