Algebra Art - Romero Britto

Making a sequential pattern -
Romero Britto

  1. Are you pleased with your artwork? Why / why not?
Yes because It looked amazing after I had completed my artwork,
and it had a lot of different patterns, warm colours and it was really
fun to do.

2. What was challenging when you did your sequential pattern artwork?
It was quite hard to paint the small patterns, it was challenging because the
majority patterns were all tiny so it was hard to try and paint without
going over the bold lines.

3. What could you adapt / modify with your artwork?
I would add much bigger and better patterns so it would be
easier to paint. If you were to look from far it would be nice
and bold.

4. Who / what helped you with your sequential pattern artwork?
Some of the presentation on senior hub site that Miss Paton
put up, I also searched up some of Romero Britto's artwork
and I got some ideas from it and I added it into my piece of art.

5. If you were to teach a new person how to create your artwork under your
theme (Romero Britto) what would be the teaching points / tips?
  • Create lots of sequential patterns
  • Do patterns that are based around what your current theme
  • Repeat some of the colours you use
  • Use warm and bright colours.
  • Make your patterns nice and bold for others to see

6. What have you learnt about this process?
To do big and bold patterns. Be more creative with what patterns
I do. Also to take my time when I paint so I don’t ruin my artwork.
Paint within the lines.
