my artwork.

Why / Why not?
Yes  because it came out well and how I wanted it to.

  1. What did you find easy when you created your Poupou artwork?
Colouring and cutting it out was the most easiest part in my opinion.

  1. What did you find challenging when you created your Poupou artwork?
I found that having to redraw my poupou artwork again was quite tiring, and
also I found that when I was colouring my artwork the pastel was smudging
and get everywhere.

  1. What do you need to work on?
I need to try working faster and finishing my work on time.

  1. What would you change, modify / adjust with your Poupou artwork?
I would do more colours, and try to do different colours instead of repeating
the same colour over and over.

7. What would you do next time to improve your Poupou artwork?
I Would take my time with colourings so it’s not so messy.

Daffodil Reflection

For 2-3 weeks we have been working on our daffodil art. I really enjoyed making these daffodils and I really enjoyed going outside and using crayons to scrap onto paper, and all of them turned out nice and it all had a lot of bright colours and patterns. My favourite part about making these Daffodils was putting the daffodils together and making my border. We first started with 3 papers we then had to go outside and use crayons and scrap colours onto the papers, than afterwards we used dye and dyed our three papers yellow, orange and green. Then after we also had to get another 3 papers and dye it any colour we would like, and we used those 3 papers for our border and our vase.

Abortion

For Term 3 as a senior hub we have been focusing on "is it right is it fair". We had to present something  based on our main topic, and I chose Abortion. What do you think? Is it right is it fair for woman to have an Abortion?. Here's a presentation on Abortion and what me and my group found out about this topic.

Gathering Weather Temperatures

My Interpretation
Wednesday and Thursday was the highest temperatures in Whangarei. It was 15
degrees celsius. On Monday and Wednesday were the coldest with 6 degrees celsius.
On Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, were the hottest days because it was
14 degrees celsius. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday were the coldest days, which
was 3 degrees celsius. In Whangarei Monday and Tuesday had the the same temperature with 14 degrees celsius and Wednesday and Thursday also had the same temperature with 15 degrees celsius. For Whangarei there was a pattern which the the numbers kept going up for high but never went lower, for low the numbers were all mixed and was different temperatures everyday. In Hokitika the temperatures were all also mixed.

Whangarei High -  Mode
The number that appears the most is 14 and 15 degrees celsius

Whangarei Low - Mode
The number that appears the most is 8 degrees celsius

Hokitika High - Mode
The number that appears the most is 14 degrees celsius

Hokitika Low - Mode
The number that appears the most is 3 degrees

Whangarei High - Average
74 divided by 5 = 14.8 degrees celsius

Whangarei Low - Average
35 divided by 5 = 7 degrees celsius

Hokitika High - Average
68 divided by 5 = 13.6 degrees celsius

Hokitika Low - Average
13 divided by 5 = 2.6 degrees celsius

Whangarei High - Range
16 degrees celsius minus 14 degrees celsius = 2 degrees celsius

Whangarei Low - Range
8 degrees celsius minus 6 degrees celsius = 2 degrees celsius

Hokitika High - Range
14 degrees celsius minus 12 degrees celsius = 2 degrees celsius

Hokitika Low - Range
3 degrees celsius minus 2 degrees celsius = 1 degrees celsius

The Mintie Challenge

The Mintie Challenge

My Interpretation
Sayonara had the longest measurement with 102cm. I think she got the
highest because she was patient with herself, she took her time and was
focused. She ripped tiny thinner pieces to make the wrapper longer. Nigel
had the shortest wrapper which was 36.3cm. He got the shortest wrapper
because he wasn't patient, he rushed it and ripped big pieces of the
wrapper which would have made it shorter than longer. Sayonara and
Zariah had similar measurements. Zariah was 3cm away from having the
same measurement as Sayonara which was quite close. Zariah’s Mintie
wrapper They both took their time and were really focused.

The Average Measurement was - 62cm I was above the Average with
84.5cm.

There is 8 students Mintie Wrappers that were above the average
measurement.

There is 13 students Mintie Wrappers that were below the average
measurement.

The Mode was - that the 40’s and 50’s where the most common
numbers that appeared the most.

The Range between the highest measurement and the lowest
measurement was - 102 - 36.3 = 65.7/66cm
