Woven Art Reflection

Woven Photo Portrait
  1. What did you accomplish?
My accomplishment was creating and finishing my woven portrait of myself
and to also doing the patterns correct on my small woven piece of art.

  1. Are you satisfied with your woven photo portrait? Why / Why not?
Yes I am satisfied by my woven artwork
because my small piece of art came out good and in line with each other.

  1. What did you find easy when you created your woven photo portrait?
I found that when you start to glue the pieces and start making
the actual woven art it really becomes easy and fast to do.

  1. What did you find challenging when you were weaving your woven photo portrait?
What I found challenging was doing all the measurements.
I had to measure strips 2cm and 1cm apart.

  1. What do you need to work on?
I needed to work on my first woven art because it was quite a fail
because I did it in a line instead of a pattern.

  1. What would you adjust with your woven photo portrait?
I would change how I did my first woven photo portrait
and try and do it better like my smaller woven art.

7. What would you do next time to improve your self portrait?
I would do it better and more tidy, and to do the measurements right.

Last week and this week we had to make a woven piece of art. We are learning about How to weave a portrait of yourself. On our woven artwork we were doing patterns and it turned out like a chequerboard. We did this work on coloured paper and normal paper.

Last week was the first week of school for 2018. Right now we are learning about "All about me" so others can get to learn and know you better. I made this all about me poster on Google drawing and we also used different tools to create it.

What makes a good teacher?

What Makes a good Teacher?
By Angel
Skills- Challenging organised active Brains
Attitudes-Kind friendly respectful fun loyal funny Not fussy
Qualities- Encouraging helpful caring Determined Supportive

Introduction

“What Makes a good Teacher” I think that a good teacher should be encouraging to the children and always being helpful when they need the teacher’s help.  A good teacher should always care for others and cheer the children up when they need someone there to make them happy and smile.

Skills

Firstly, a good Teacher should always be organised for the day and they should never have to get ready when school starts because it will be a waste of time. Teachers should always challenge their children so that they can get higher and better in things like Reading and writing etc. I think that challenges shouldn’t be on easy- it should be on hard so that the class can work harder and put their mind to it so that they can do it -  their work will be more challenging for them.

Attitudes

Secondly, I think that Teachers should be friendly to every student and they should not always be angry and growl the students. Students should always be respectful to teachers but I think not only students  but Teachers too should always respect children. Teachers should always be funny and kind to every single student because some teachers can be really mean and never show their nice side  so I think that they should always have a kind and loving heart.

Qualities

Thirdly, Teachers should always be Determined. I think that Teachers should always be supportive and they should support whatever decision  the children make. And the teachers should always stand by them and support them through everything that they go through, like if the children are having a bad day. Then the teacher should help them through the day. Teachers should be  caring and helpful.

Conclusion
Overall, I think that all Teachers should just be themselves and they should always be kind and loving to their students.Teachers should be like Jesus. I think that they should be like Jesus because Jesus was a role model and He loved and cared for everyone.

Explanation:
For writing we had to write "What makes a good teacher" And this is what I wrote. We had to include Skills, Attitude and Qualities.

I also have apps that I use a lot and lastly I have two NBA jerseys and one Samoan rugby jersey.I have my head in the middle which shows you what I like and my culture and friends.
